TINJAUAN KRIMINOLOGI TERHADAP MAHASISWA GONDRONG DI LINGKUNGAN UNIVERSITAS NEGERI GORONTALO

Abstract

This study discusses the Criminological Review of Long-haired Students in the State University of Gorontalo Environment. The method used in this study is empirical juridical research, which is a study that has an object of study regarding community behavior. The results of the study show that the criminological review of long-haired students in the State University of Gorontalo explains that not all long-haired students are criminals. "Drop Out", which was implemented at the State University of Gorontalo in 2011 on 10 students of the Faculty of Engineering and 3 students of the Faculty of Agriculture is a major change for students in the State University of Gorontalo to not commit criminal acts until now in 2019, previously long-haired students were synonymous with criminals. In the last 8 years, long-haired students have become outstanding students both academically and through the organizations they are involved in. Factors that influence students to want to have long hair are environmental factors through organizations that always uphold seniority and follow seniors, friends and idols because sometimes idols are used as a source of inspiration. Like television, which often shows the daily lives of artists, football players, musicians and so on, starting from their daily lives, clothing styles to hairstyles that are often followed by fans or students.
